SNV @ COP26
SNV will be attending and joining the discussions at the upcoming COP26 - UN climate change conference. The 26th edition of the event will be held in Glasgow, Scotland, between 31 October and 12 November 2021, under the presidency of the United Kingdom. To see more, visit the COP26 website.
Due to the COVID pandemic, the COP26 event will be a hybrid format with limited delegate participation and a facility for delegates to attend online. The objectives of the COP26 meeting are to:

Work together to deliver
SNV at the event
Climate change is becoming one of the most important cross-cutting themes across our three sectors Energy, Agriculture and Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH). Therefore, SNV will be attending this event with a small delegation and also joining a number of panels virtually. The message that we will bring to the event is:
We need to jointly scale action and investments to increase climate resilience in low to middle-income countries – by ensuring access to safe and affordable food, energy and water for the most vulnerable people. Effective climate action requires the adoption of proven, locally-led, inclusive approaches through enhanced capacities, collective mindsets and innovative financial models.
Side events and profiling
SNV will participate in a number of official events and side events at different pavilions. For these side events, we will be focusing on gender, sustainable energy, innovations in agriculture, climate financing, among others. Once the official list of side events has been published, we will share the events we will participate in here.
We look forward to seeing you in Glasgow!
