SNV announces new Managing Director Operations

We are very pleased to announce the appointment of Hans Heijdra as the new Managing Director Operations of SNV. Hans' appointment will follow the departure of Michel Farkas as MD Global Support Services. Hans will take up his new position on 1 November 2018. Hans will be a member of the SNV Managing Board.

Hans Heijdra is an excellent fit for this position given his central role in modernising SNV in the past years. Hans has played many roles in the 23 years he has been with SNV. Between 2003 and 2013 he has been SNV Country Director in Bolivia, Nepal and Tanzania. In his current position as Head of Marketing and Business Development, he has been the driving force behind designing and implementing the business development process – which has resulted in a growing order intake from a diverse set of donors. In many ways, his new role in strengthening the project implementation process is a translation of the business development process he has championed. Hans has a Master's Degree in Agricultural Sciences from Wageningen University.
