New Video - Growing Green for ECOM: Sustainability profits Nicaragua's coffee farmers

Nicaragua has the lowest level of coffee production per hectare in Central America, with over 90% grown by smallholder farmers disadvantaged by poverty, low yields and ineffective agriculture practices.

Watch how coffee farmers, with support from SNV Nicaragua, are making big changes to improve their livelihoods; growing more by switching to sustainable farming, and earning more through inclusive business trading with ECOM, one of the world's largest coffee traders.

The Access to Sustainable Markets and Food Security Programme is working with thousands of rural smallholders to adopt sustainable practices and achieve UTZ certifcation, for coffee that is sold at a premium to ECOM Coffee through an Inclusive Business partnership.
