Working in Cambodia since 2005, SNV implements projects in the agriculture, energy, and water sanitation and hygiene (WASH) sectors. Our multi-national team of experts works from our national office in Phnom Penh.
Internship Objective
The Operations Intern is part of the Operations team which, within a country, focuses on the administration task, system administrator, and development of consultant roster and establishment of framework agreement.
The Operations Intern acts as a service provider supporting all projects taking place at SNV Cambodia, ensuring a timely response to the projects and the client community.
Job Description
SAB System Administrator:
- Responsible for checking the supplier ID and creating new supplier in SAP system.
- Create purchase order, review, and post the correct line code charge in SAP system.
- Reviewing the proper procurement processes and follow the procurement checklist.
Contracting and Procurement:
- Monitor the procurement request tracker, update the contract register in SharePoint.
- Review the contract extension for current roster and framework agreement.
- Prepare Personal Request Form (PRF) and establish new framework. agreements on procurement of Good, Work, Non-Consultancy service including hotel related province in all SNV program coverage.
- Update and verify the roster list of suppliers/vendors.
Administration:
- Assist office environments matter to ensure it is maintained to an appropriate level of organization and cleanliness, with monitored provision of sundries.
- Monitor office and kitchen supply and prepare the report.
- Assist the administration task on reception, office management, repair, and maintenance of equipment.
- Assist on event arrangement, meeting, and workshop arrangement within the project level for SNV Cambodia.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by line manager.
Qualifications
- University/fresh graduated student in management, business administration, or related field.
- Intellectual curiosity, and passion for the work SNV is carrying out in Cambodia.
- Demonstrable knowledge, skills and experience in administration and operations.
- High degree of initiative, flexibility, reliability, discretion, and willingness to learn.
- Good oral and written communication skills in English.
- Solid computer skills in MS-applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Internet, etc.).
- Knowledge of SAP by Design and SharePoint is an added advantage
